"Captain Hook's Revenge"
We hope you all enjoyed watching the antics of Captain Hook and his band of Pirates in their attempt to rid Neverland of Peter Pan! This was a very popular production with all ages, and has inspired more young people locally to join our enthusiastic band of junior thespians (who meet at the theatre on Monday afternoons) in the hope of being up there on the stage. Well done to all cast and crew, and to Carol Wierzbicki for her hard work in bringing the story to life.
"Old Money"
Thank you for the wonderful support shown recently for the production of ‘Old Money’, a murder mystery set in the late Victorian era, written and directed by Suzanne Munn. This play proved to be very popular with our audiences, playing to a full house on the last night! All the cast enjoyed the experience, and worked hard to bring the Victorian atmosphere alive. Well done to all concerned!
"The Exorcism"
Saturday the 28th of May 2011 was the final night of Neil James' successful directorial debut, "The Exorcism". Don Taylor's 1970s play was full of meaning and fabulously eerie! Something quite different for the Attic Players, the production was a great opportunity for some of the company's newer members to demonstrate their considerable talents. "And They All Lived Happily..."
We hope you didn’t miss the recent production of ‘And They All Lived Happily…’, written and directed by Maria Hughes. Although there were a few logistical problems concerning the weather, this proved to be one of our most popular pantomimes to date, and was a great success. We’re sure we will be hearing more from Maria who is taking a well-earned break, (famous last words!).
Congratulations to all the cast and crew who worked so hard, often in freezing conditions. to perform this for your obvious pleasure, there has been very positive feedback from our audiences, old and young alike.
