March 2010:

Rehearsals are well under way for the June production of "Fly in the Ointment" a farce by Derek Benfield.

Maria Hughes is making her directing debut, and many of her cast are relative newcomers to Attic Players. We are happy to see the return of Heddwen Cadwallader, who played the Baroness in the Christmas show so convincingly, Jane Hills, whom you may have seen singing "The Boy I Love is Up in the Gallery" at our recent Music Hall evening, and Erin Kavanagh who played a villager. Rod Davis, who took a break from the theatre during the December production is back, along with a new member, Alan Waterman, and Greg Buck, who is one of our younger Attic members.

"We are a group founded to persue performing arts. We are lucky in having our own theatre available to us all the time, namely the Attic Theatre in Cawdor Hall (above the indoor market and Hanes Emlyn) right in the middle of Newcastle Emlyn."
