February 2012 : "The End of the Pier Show" & "Allo Allo" We are excited to announce that not one, but two productions are in rehearsal at the moment. The first is the much-anticipated "End of the Pier Show", in the spirit of Old Time Music Hall. Just about every member of the group is involved in some way, including the junior section, and Branwen is busy preparing musical arrangements of many and varied songs straight from the 20’s and 30’s when our show is set. Expect a wide range of entertainment from comedy to pathos, music and prose, and a nostalgic visit to the past with costumes to suit the period. Performance dates are provisionally the first two Fridays and Saturdays in April (5th, 6th, 13th and 14th). Our second offering is the hilarious ‘Allo Allo’ by Jeremy Lloyd and David Croft which is being directed by the ever-busy Elaine Thompson. Performance dates have yet to be confirmed, but late August is looking likely. Watch this space for more details... |

"We
are a group founded to persue performing arts. We are lucky in having
our own theatre available to us all the time, namely the Attic
Theatre
in Cawdor Hall (above the indoor market and Hanes
Emlyn) right
in the middle of Newcastle Emlyn."
